Jumpstart the new year and join us on Wednesday, January 28th, at 1 PM (ET) as we are joined by Eran Peterson and Kristen Soprano from the University of Connecticut Career Center to showcase how they are making career-ready graduates with their program, UConn Career Ready.
According to a recent Gallup survey, 11% of business leaders strongly agreed that college graduates have the skills that employers need. That’s where UConn Career Ready comes into play.UConn Career Ready, powered by Suitable, utilizes the NACE Ready assessment tool to help equip students and employee supervisors with training, structure, and resources to enhance supervisory and mentorship skills while helping students develop a sense of pride and pursue the work they are doing.
Now, with UConn Ready, students are to bridge the skills gap and finally articulate their skill development for further employment opportunities. Eran and Kristen will dive into their pilot, how they utilized students from start to finish to enhance the program. To learn how they have not only increased students' goals, but also encouraged professional development and comfort in asking for help.
This event will provide:
- An overview of UConn Career Ready and how they utilize the NACE Ready assessment to further student career readiness in and out of the classroom.
- A breakdown of the program’s structure, branding, milestones, and how students are using this to enhance their student employment experience.
- Best practices for furthering student adoption and tips for getting staff and faculty buy-in.
- A look at the recent engagement data and student outcomes they’ve achieved in their first year.
- A live student testimonial recounting their experience in the program.
- Q&A with Eran & Kristen!
As always, there is no cost to attend, and all those registered will receive the post-event recording and presentation.
