On May 15th at 11 AM (ET), Moravian University's Center for Career and Civic Engagement showcases their 2024 award-winning career readiness badging initiative. The Career Readiness Badging Initiative is increasing co-curricular involvement while preparing students for life after graduation by helping them articulate the professional skills and accomplishments they’ve achieved while at Moravian.
To complete this program, students finish a series of micro-credentials that help them stand out to potential employers or graduate schools. Students can earn points toward these badges by attending lectures, joining student organizations, participating in research, studying abroad, and more. They can feature their completed badges directly on LinkedIn or on their resume, portfolio, or even highlight them during job interviews. Students who go on and complete the program are then eligible for “The Career Promise”. The Career Promise is a groundbreaking program where students who are not employed or enrolled in graduate school within one year of graduating from Moravian University they’ll qualify for financial support to assist with paying student loans, as well as free enrollment in select undergraduate or graduate courses.
Take advantage of this chance to learn how Moravian University has scaled student engagement and improved career outcomes with the adoption of Suitable’s modern digital badging platform. Suitable offers the perfect digital tool to help students articulate the value of all their hard work taking place outside of the classroom.
This event will provide:
- An overview of the 8 chosen competencies for the Career Readiness Digital Badging platform.
- A breakdown of their programs' structure, branding, badges, and how students use Suitable to document their progress and build an ePortfolio.
- A look at the recent engagement data and student outcomes they’ve achieved.
- Live Q&A with Amy & Kelly!
Attendance is free, and as always, a post-event recording will be sent out to all those who register.
