How is your institution supporting the development of its students and bridging their skills gap?
On April 22nd at 2 PM (ET), you are invited to join Mark Visco (CEO, Suitable) and Kelsey Krauss (Senior Client Success Manager, Suitable) as they welcome Amanda Kennedy (Associate Director, Work-integrated Learning Initiatives, UC Work+Learn, Arizona State University) to showcase their institution's strategic framework for student employment and career readiness, Work+.
Offered through University College, but open to all students, Work+ is the official model for student employment at ASU that supports over 8,000 student workers annually. The Work+ program is designed to build career skills by integrating academic learning with part-time work experience. However, ASU doesn’t stop there. Through Suitable’s exclusive partnership with NACE, student workers can now complete the NACE Competency Assessment directly on the app. This provides students with a reliable, valid way to identify their workplace strengths while receiving crucial quantitative and qualitative feedback about their career readiness - all delivered in beautifully designed & interactive reports on Suitable. Don’t miss this chance to get a glimpse into the future of working learners.
This event will provide:
- An overview of ASU’s Work+ Framework and how students use Suitable to identify their skills, as well as areas for growth.
- A look at the legacy tech ASU was using before Suitable and why they decided it was time to make a switch.
- Key strategies for scaling the student employment experience across campus and fostering greater buy-in from supervisors.
- A live student testimonial sharing how their experience as a student worker has been invaluable to their ASU education.
- Live Q&A with Amanda and the Suitable team!
As always, there is no cost to attend, and a post-event recording will be sent out to all registrants!
