Mark your calendars for  October 29th at 2 PM (ET) for an insightful AACSB-sponsored event exploring curriculum design and the value of integrating experiential learning. This session will feature a team of distinguished higher education leaders from Loyola Marymount University, the University of New Hampshire, and Suitable.

The session will examine two different models for integrating experiential learning into the curriculum and how institutions can effectively navigate change management, faculty buy-in, and, most importantly, student outcomes. The University of New Hampshire’s Business in Practice (BiP) Program introduces credit-bearing, practitioner-led courses to provide the skills set needed for students to be work-ready, focusing on 4 intelligences: Analytical, Social, Professional, and Competitive. In contrast, Loyola Marymount University’s CBA Advantage program incorporates a structured co-curricular program that is rooted in reflective practices - all powered by Suitable.

Tune in to learn how and why each institution selected its approach, how they collaborated with various stakeholders to implement the curriculum updates, and ultimately how their program adds value to meet student, institutional, and industry needs. All while supporting your AACSB Accreditation and Student Learning Objectives (SLOs).

This event will provide:

  • A closer look at how real-world skills can not only be built into the coursework but also how experiential learning can drive strategic initiatives, program-level learning outcomes, and career readiness at business schools.
  • An exploration into how co-curricular programs, like CBA Advantage, can boost student engagement and enhance student development through scaffolding, reflections, and ePortfolios.
  • Insights into the merits and efficacy of innovative curricular strategies, like the Business in Practice (BiP) Program, to prepare students with professional skills and hands-on learning experiences.
  • A live Q&A with the speakers!

As always, there is no cost to attend, and a post-event recording will be sent out to all registrants!
