Register For This Event

We invite you to join us on Thursday, December 8th at 1pm (ET) to hear how Florida A&M is working with Suitable to implement digital badges and credentials throughout their student journey to better encourage, and recognize, their student's learning and engagement. There is no cost to attend and a post-event recording will be sent out to all those who register.

With new requirements coming down from the state, and the burgeoning workplace demand for micro/macro credentials, FAMU has constructed their "Rattler Ready" initiative. The Rattler Ready experience begins with the Career Action Plan to help students develop a career roadmap. This roadmap incorporates career readiness via the Freshmen Studies Strike Forward program that facilitates the development of financial literacy, professional communication, leadership, and other competencies within the FAMU General Education framework.

This event will provide:

  • An overview of digital badging and credentialing trends sweeping Higher Education.
  • A review of the requirements included in Florida House Bills 1261 and 1507.
  • An in-depth look at the Rattler Ready initiative and how it works.
  • A quick walkthrough of Suitable's badging technology.
  • Peer-to-peer networking and a live Q&A with presenters.
