We are thrilled to welcome Allison Otto (Assistant Director of Badging & Skills) from Vanderbilt University's Career Center on September 17th at 12pm (ET) to unveil Vanderbilt Pathways Achieving Skills and Success (VandyPASS), their non-required career readiness platform. VandyPASS powered by Suitable, is an immersive digital badging program that tracks, builds, and awards specific career readiness skills gained outside of the classroom and connects students to various career pathways.
Students can level up through the program by attending and completing specific tasks like attending a job recruitment informational session, participating in a group project, or even holding a student leadership position on campus. As students complete the program they reach new milestones and achieve various micro-credentials that they can share directly to their LinkedIn profile. Each experiential learning opportunity in VandyPASS aligns with one of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) 8 core competencies. These competencies are highly sought after by employers and have proven crucial to long-term career success.
This event will provide:
- An overview of the VandyPASS initiative and its competency framework.
- A breakdown of the program structure, branding, and how students complete it.
- Examples of VandyPASS branding, badges, and communication strategy to students, faculty, and staff.
- Insights into VandyPASS engagement data and student feedback from their first year as they head into year 2!
- Live Q&A with Allison Otto!
As always, there is no cost to attend, and a post-event recording will be sent out to all registrants!
The "Wheel of Fun" prize is...a Suitable Swag bag and Vanderbilt swag! The "Wheel of Fun" will be spun during the webinar, and to be entered to win, you must attend the live event.
