In the wake of the pandemic, schools have arrived at an opportune moment in time to make revolutionary advancements in their technology investments--especially those that relate directly to student equity, access, and success. COVID-19 exposed just how outdated engagement, learning, and student retention software is at many institutions. Join us on March 23rd at 1:30pm (ET) to hear Bucks County Community College share how they have successfully pioneered a technology revolution at their school to put students first. This meant removing and replacing legacy vendors/processes as well as and rethinking their student success technology strategy overall to create institutional synergies instead of deeper silos. What started as a simple change in student success software, is now turning into an energizing, campus-wide movement, and strategic effort to modernize the student experience and become more data-driven. This initiative, entitled Bucks+, allows students to find and participate in (virtual) experiential and co-curricular learning experiences happening throughout Bucks County Community College & beyond--all built on the most advanced web and mobile technology available. Students earn points for activities, attendance, and accomplishments at varying levels to build skills and competencies necessary to become career ready. As they progress every student is automatically building a shareable Experiential Learning Record that celebrates their accomplishments and tells their unique story.
