We invite you to join us on Thursday, January 25th, at 1pm (ET) for our first partner story of 2024! Karen Eilers, MA (Director of Career Development) from the Thrive Center for Learning, Calling & Career at Montreat College joins us to showcase their career development initiative, Montreat 360.

The Montreat 360 program encourages student experiential learning and co-curricular involvement through leadership, clubs/organizations, student activities, athletics, internships, study abroad, and so much more. With Montreat 360 powered by Suitable, students can discover what is happening on and off campus and choose the activities/events they want to participate in. Students create an ePortfolio that tracks and showcases their competency and skill development throughout their college experience.

In this platform, students practice and strengthen transferrable skills such as teamwork, communication, leadership, and professionalism. As students complete Montreat 360 they are able to earn points and various badges that are reflected in their digital record. Montreat 360 helps students meet their career goals, articulate their college experience, and prepare them for the competitive job market following graduation.

This event will provide:

An overview of Montreat 360 and the eight competencies.
A breakdown of the initiative and how students complete it.
An inside look at the various badges and the 32 skills associated with each competency.
