Calling all Career Center professionals! Tune in to hear how the Career Center at Shippensburg University launched the undergraduate career readiness initiative called “Raider Ready” and has encouraged students to get involved in valuable experiences outside the classroom, both on campus and now virtually while campus is closed.

Despite COVID-19, Shippensburg continues to maintain high levels of student participation by leveraging Suitable's transformative web and mobile capabilities. Raider Ready allows students to discover, develop, define, and distinguish the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to become career ready post-graduation.

After a successful pilot at their business college, Shippensburg aims to scale Raider Ready to a broader student population. Plus, the success of this initiative has been garnering recognition and support from numerous other key units including Student Success and Retention, First-Gen, and Exploratory Studies. This session will provide:

- Data on the outcomes achieved relating to student success and competency development.
- An in-depth review of the academic research supporting the value proposition of scaffolding the student experience starting freshman year.
- A look at how Suitable’s groundbreaking mobile technology helped Shippensburg launch, track, and achieve nearly 100% student engagement, even
throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
