Located in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, NC Wesleyan University offers students an endless world of possibilities. With over 30+ student organizations, various intramural sports, and volunteer opportunities, there are countless ways for students to get involved and further their personal and professional development.
Join us on October 23rd at 11:00 am (ET) as Jason Modlin (Dean of Students) and Elliot Smith (Director of Student Activities) from North Carolina Wesleyan University (NCWU) take the stage to showcase their award-winning co-curricular program WesQuest, and share their best practices for implementing a student engagement initiative. WesQuest, powered by Suitable is a dynamic, real-time co-curricular transcript platform that showcases and tracks a journey throughout their time at NCWU.
Beginning freshman year, NCWU students can discover on and off-campus activities/events that align with their individual interests. As students participate, they earn points and badges in various competency areas reflected in their digital records. WesQuest helps students articulate their college experience, meet their career goals, and equip them with the skills needed for life-long success.
This event will provide:
- An overview of the WesQuest initiative and their competency framework.
- A breakdown of the program structure, branding, and how students use the platform.
- Examples of WesQuest badges and communication strategies to students, faculty, and staff.
- Insights into how they have achieved over 80% engagement in their first year.
- Live Q&A with Jason and Elliot!
As always, there is no cost to attend, and a post-event recording will be sent out to all registrants!
