Join Suitable at the Digital Credentials Summit and become part of the educational experience transformation with a new focus on developing talent and connecting talent to opportunities.
In partnership with The University of Arkansas’s Sam M. Walton College of Business, Suitable invites you to join us for an insightful breakout session with interactive Q&A that will delve into practical LTI use cases that can improve LMS utilization, scale digital credentials/badging, and automate student records and ePortfolios.
Walton has been working with Suitable to improve student success initiatives so that students are more prepared with transferable skills for life after graduation. Their signature initiative, Student Achieving Milestones (S.A.M.), was created to provide a framework for students to enhance their personal, academic and professional opportunities by being exposed to, interacting with, participating in, and gaining expertise and mastery of, timely student success and career readiness skills, competencies and experiences to prepare them for life during and after college.
As Walton aims to continuously improve their student experience with Suitable, they at the same time have been able to streamline the administrative duties by leveraging Suitable’s LTI integration with Blackboard. This two-way integration is used in large classes with nearly 2,000 students as well as smaller courses to automatically keep systems synced up. As students complete assignments in Suitable, their progress data is synced to their academic record in Blackboard.
This has created efficiencies for staff and reduced the number of reports they need to run. This also ensures the student’s ePortfolio in Suitable is as up-to-date as possible while simplifying the experience for students since they don’t have to record this progress in two different systems.
